Lo Moon dropped their first track in three years with ‘Dream Never Dies’ earlier this year. They’ve now hit us with the alternate version of the impressive track, which strips back the thick textured soundscapes of the original and gives us the exposed, raw sound the band originally envisioned. The live recording of the tune is recorded in a dark garage with minimal production, but the band are still able to capture an incredible, organic sound that highlights the track’s compositional nuances and layered vocals. “We got together in my garage, put up a few microphones and worked to capture a different spirit than the original,” they say. “This is ‘Dream Never Dies’ in its most vulnerable form.” -Dan Peeke
